Various Projects - Seeber USA - Duncan, SC
Provided HVAC, plumbing, and process piping design services for a plastics manufacturer supplying injection molded plastics to the automotive industry. These projects included a 200,000 sq.ft. manufacturing expansion and a 40,000 sq.ft. paint booth addition. The manufacturing expansion consisted of rooftop gas-fired air conditioning equipment, compressors and extensive compressed air piping, process cooling water, and industrial exhaust. The paint booth addition consisted of rooftop environmental control units to supply temperature and humidity controlled outside air to a field constructed paint booth.
Chilled Water Plant – AVX Corporation – Fountain Inn, SC
Conversion of an existing 1,500-ton chilled water plant to a new 3,000-ton chilled water plant. The project included combining two separate chilled water systems into a single chilled water system and the addition of a new 1,500-ton chiller. The design also included staging chiller operation for the most energy efficient use.
Stacker Cleanroom – AVX Corporation – Fountain Inn, SC
A 27,500 sq.ft. renovation within an existing facility converting existing manufacturing space into two, ISO 7 (Class 10,000) clean rooms (10,000 sq.ft. and 4,000 sq.ft. respectively), laboratories, offices, and maintenance shop. The design included process gas and water piping and precision climate control.
Sea Level Systems - Liberty, SC
Provided HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process exhaust system design services for the 25,000 sq.ft. expansion of an existing printed circuit board production facility. This project included manufacturing, testing, and office areas. Design and construction were completed within 90 days to allow immediate production.
Manufacturing Addition – ZF Chassis – Duncan, SC
Two additions totaling 60,000 sq.ft. to an existing manufacturing facility. The additions contained component assembly space, laboratory, offices, meeting rooms, and break areas.
